Our Mission

Voices for Social Justice is a nonprofit organization that works to combine social activism with justice-centered artistic practice. We develop programming that engages with our community to promote social change, we offer resources to build equity in artistic educational spaces, and we create artistic platforms for all peoples to share their stories. At the heart of what we do is championing the human voice, whether that be singing, story telling, empowerment, or advocacy, Voices for Social Justice is an accomplice in efforts to dismantle oppressive systems that silence any and all voices.

Educational Resources

To further reinforce Voices for Social Justice’s commitment to equitable artistic spaces, we work to co-create educational resources that integrate social justice work into music classrooms and rehearsal environments. Additionally, this collaborative work provides resources that invite others in the performing arts field to examine and create equity in their practices.

Resources available for:

Pre K - 4th Grade

5th - 8th Grade

9th - 12th Grade
